AssanPay Payment Gateway
Project Overview
We built a complete payment gateway platform for AssanPay, designed to support merchants and payment operations across different regions. The platform brings merchant management, payment processing, hosted checkout, payment APIs and administrative operations into one system. Because each region can have different payment methods and requirements, it was designed to support regional integrations including e-wallets, QR-based payments and card payments. Alongside the web platform we developed a merchant mobile application for the Pakistan market in Flutter.

Business context
AssanPay is a payment platform for businesses in Pakistan. Its product brings payment collection and merchant tools together across payment channels. For a merchant, accepting a payment is only one part of the workflow: the surrounding system also needs to make transaction activity and administrative operations accessible.
The engineering challenge in a regional payment platform is connecting the merchant experience with payment interfaces while accounting for different market requirements. AssanPay's project combines those business workflows in a custom platform rather than treating checkout as an isolated screen.
Merchant and administration workflows
SignX's documented engagement includes merchant management, merchant and admin dashboards, and payment processing functionality. These interfaces form the management side of the platform alongside the payment-facing experience.
For a business commissioning similar software, the important distinction is between the merchant's day-to-day tools and the administrative workflows supporting the platform. The scope of each interface should be defined around the operation it serves.

Payment interfaces and regional integrations
The documented delivery includes payment APIs and hosted checkout infrastructure, together with integrations for e-wallets, QR-based payments and cards across different markets. The platform was designed around the fact that payment methods and requirements can differ by region.
Alongside the web platform, SignX developed a Flutter merchant application for the Pakistan market. The recorded technology stack is Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and Flutter, covering the platform and mobile elements of the engagement.
